asakawa maki Singer Asakawa Maki Dead at 67Popular Japanese Singer Asakawa Maki known for her vocal style which mirrored Billie Holliday and Mahalia Jackson’s was pronounced dead on Sunday from acute heart failure. The singer was found dead in her hotel room at Nagoya hotel, in Tokyo. She was 67. May her soul RIP.
