Elia Suleiman Wins Best Middle Eastern Narative for “Time that Remains”
Congratulations to Palestinian film director Elia Suleiman who emerges winner of the Black Pearl Awards for “Best Middle Eastern Narrative” at the third annual Middle East International Film Festival in Abu Dhabi. The festival just wrapped up and Suleiman won for his film ‘Al-Zaman al-Baqi’ (The Time That Remains).
The film captures the daily lives of Palestinians living in Israel inspired by his father’s experiences. You can see a trailer of the movie in the clip above.
