2009 International Indian Film Academy Awards Red Carpet & Winners
Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Aishwarya Rai, Bipashu Bapu, Sophie Choudry were some of India’s Bollywood stars that came out for the 10th Annual International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) at the exotic Venetian Macao Resort Hotel. Hrithik Roshan walked away with Style Icon of the Decade, Shah Rukh-Star of the Decade (Male), Aishwarya Rai-Star of the Decade (Female) and the film Jodaa Akbar starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya walked away with six (6) awards! .
IIFA is a unique award geared towards promoting Indian Cinema globally. To that end, each year, the award takes place in a different country. It has so far traveled to Dubai, Malaysia, Singapore, Amsterdam, Johannesburg, Sun City and Yorkshire.
